Canal 14, New Castle 11

We won our first game in the All Star tournament. What a game! Payton was catcher for the entire game and did a fantastic job, he even had his name appear in the Sunday newspaper. The next game is Monday evening and we play Stanton. WAY TO GO CANAL!!!! We love you Payton and are so proud of you.

We'll get em' next year...........

Well, The Dodgers didn't win the Championship game but they played awesome! The final score was 9-6. They had a great season and we are so proud of them for getting this far. WAY TO GO BOYS! We had a great team with wonderful boys and parents. We had a lot of family, friends, and neighbors come to the games to show their love and support, so thank you to all of you. We love you so much. Baseball season isn't over for the Gravell's yet. Payton was selected to play on the 9 year old Invitational Canal All Star Team. CONGRATULATIONS BABY! We are so proud of you! Practice has already begun and the tournament starts on Saturday, June 28th, so we hope you will all come back out to the fields and watch Payton. Payton also has two more travel ball tournaments to play in early August and over Labor Day weekend.

Happy Fathers Day Dad! I love you!

I hope you had a wonderful, relaxing day at the beach today. I love you so much. HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO THE WORLDS GREATEST FATHER!

THE DODGERS ARE GOING TO THE CHAMPIONSHIPS!

WE WON OUR GAME SATURDAY NIGHT! The Dodger's are playing in the championship on Monday night. It will be a tough game but I know we can do it. We handed out trophies for the regular season last night. I also included a picture of Payton's 2 home run balls he got this season. Payton's Nana from Arizona has been in town this past week. I know she is having a blast watching him play and she is thrilled that she will be able to see him play in the big game Monday night under the lights. It means so much to Payton to have her here watching him. The picture below is for you Bonnie, enjoy!

GO DODGERS! BEAT THOSE PHILLIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My favorite pictures from the tournament.......

This was after Payton's winning pitch!

The Force/Walk The Plank Tournament

Memorial Day weekend was Payton's first travel baseball tournament in Olney, Maryland. WOW! What a great time we had at the tournament. The Force played 2 games on Saturday and lost and played one game on Sunday and won. WHAT A GAME! It was tied 4-4 from the fourth inning and our pitcher shut em down. Going into the seventh inning Coach Dan decided to put Payton on the mound, that inning was 3 up, 3 down. The next inning Payton pitched one strike out, and then a walk. A man was on 1st & 2nd. The next batter hit one out to center field and our left center made a great catch for the second out! With one more batter to go Payton pitched him to a full count & nailed him with a hard strike on the inside corner to end the game! He played the best baseaball that I have ever seen him play. YOU ARE MY MVP PAYTON! We love you so much! Our next tournament is 8/2 & 8/3 in Allentown,PA. Even though we didn't win this tournament they played great. We'll get em' next time Force!!!!!!
