Gavin can't get enough of Santa Claus!

We have been to see Santa Claus a half a dozen times in the past 2 weeks. At the mall, the library, cutting down our tree, and at the house with the beautiful light display. Gavin asks to see Santa everyday. He is going to be so sad when Christmas comes and goes next week. Enjoy the Santa pics!

Our Christmas Tree!

Today we went to Coleman's Tree Farm to cut down our annual Christmas tree. It was pouring rain and very cold, but it was worth it. I think this year we found our best tree yet! Santa Claus was visiting on the farm today, so Gavin was very excited to see him again and to tell him what he wants for Christmas, "a bike and fruit snacks!!"

Noah's First Reconciliation

Noah received his First Reconciliation on Sunday. We had a wonderful afternoon together. We ate lunch and made crafts during the workshop before the ceremony. He looked so handsome in his suit. I love you Noah!

Story Time with Santa

I took Gavin to our library today to listen to Santa read a Christmas story. He was a little nervous as we waited in line to visit with Santa, but he sat with Santa for a quick second so I could snap a picture. As you can see by the look on his face he wasn't too sure if he liked Santa, but he was thrilled to receive a candy cane!

Football is over!

We are sad that football season is over. Payton and Noah had an awesome first season playing football. They both enjoyed it so much and didn't want it to end. Noah's team, the Pee-Wee Bucs, had an undefeated season! Payton's team, the Midget Bucs ended in fourth place! Great job Payton and Noah. I love watching you play and can't wait until next season! Baseball season is right around the corner but for now we have a few months to relax and enjoy the holidays together!

Happy Halloween from The Gravells

Gavin didn't like touching the goop and pumpkin seeds but he scooped it all out anyway. I dressed up for Gavin since he couldn't go trick or treating and got him a lot of candy!! Thanks Mom Gravell for sitting with Payton and Noah, they love Yahtzee!!

Happy Halloween!

We had a crazy Halloween this year! Noah was starting to feel better but we kept him home from his football game, and Gavin started the morning off with a fever and we ended up in AI Hospital because he now has a hernia. It is not strangulated so he did not need surgery right away, but we will schedule it on Monday. Jason and I were able to make it home to get everyone dressed up in our costumes, snapped a couple pictures, and Payton,Noah and I went trick or treating. We had a blast! Jason and Gavin stayed home and gave out candy. It was a crazy Halloween!!

Saint Augustine

Payton's All Saints Celebration is finally here today! He is St. Augustine of Hippo and we worked so hard on this project. Payton was quite nervous about his presentation this morning, but I know he will do great! We want to thank Auntie Pat over and over again for all of her hard work, time, and creativity on Payton's costume. It looks amazing! We could not have done it without you. Thank you Mom for your time and help with all the extras I needed. You are the best! Here are some pictures of the fabulous costume and his board.

Milburn Orchards

The boys had off from school on Monday, so the four of us took our annual trip to Milburn Orchards. We had a great time feeding the goats, getting lost in the corn maze and picking out our Halloween pumpkins.

Noah's Pee-Wee Buc's won their third game in a row. Noah had some awesome plays! Football season is definitely my favorite time of the year.

The Baltimore Aquarium

Yesterday Jason and I took the boys to the National Aquarium. It was a beautiful day! We walked all over by the water, ate lunch and had a great time. Payton was the photographer for the day. He took amazing pictures of the fish, sharks, jelly fish and dolphins. In the first picture, Gavin is hiding behind my leg. I don't know why, we all know he is not shy!
